A crisp cold start to 2026 and after a dusting of snow the night before, we were down to just Sue & myself for our ride to Foxton Locks.
So glad we turned out though, the views were stunning, the roads quiet, and we both made it round safely.

We keep getting these windows of loveliness and after the downpour the day before, the roads and lanes out of Gt Bowden were all flooded on the 16th, and we had to divert via East Langton to get to our start at Thorpe Langton.
It was a ride we’d done back in the Autumn when it was drizzling all day, but today we could see the amazing views around Neville Holt and down across the Welland Valley to the Community cafe at Cottingham, where the volunteers all made us very welcome.
