We’re certainly a hardy lot, when we arrived for our New Year session the piste was frozen solid, but after a rake over, it ran like a bowling green and we were all playing like experts. Then it started to thaw and the ruts sent the Boules everywhere again.
We’ve decided that we won’t send out weather cancellation emails as the forecast is often wrong, and lots of us don’t mind wrapping up and playing whatever the weather.
There’s often plenty of spaces this time of year, so please keep the spreadsheet up to date, so we can see who’s coming, and others can see where they can slot in.
All thawed out for our third Monday sessions and a great turnout again. The council are installing a new entrance gate for us, complete with Boules across the arch, watch this space for pics.
