9 (fool) hardy souls :-), met up for the Urban Drenching Walk today and while the rain wasn’t too bad decided to give it a go. We left Welland Park, went up Logan Street onto the canal keeping an eye out for kingfishers, none seen but eagle eyed Roy spotted a tree creeper for us all which was pretty impressive.
We cut the walk short at the bridge to Wellington Place as the rain had got a lot heavier and retraced our steps via the country park area to the canal.
2.75 miles in just over the hour.
Next walk is on Thursday 8 January, details to follow nearer the time.
Merry xmas and happy new year to all
Graham and Gina
